Buck-n-Rubber
DescriptionHere's a little trick that I've been using for many years. On countless occasions, this jig has produced fish for me when nothing else worked. We start out with one of our famous glitter jigs. Tie on some buck that only comes from a certain part of the tail. Add a little tinsel on the bottom, and top it off with just the right color and length of a ring worm or ringer. In the Spring, I like to swim these jigs right off the bottom. In the Fall, snap-jigging them on the rocks or wingdams is lethal. In the cold-water months, I like to drop and hold it up off the bottom by a couple of inches and quiver it once in a while. Hang on because you can get some bites that will just rattle your arm! The Buck-n-Rubber is a great secret weapon that has made tourney fisherman a lot of money over the past few years.
